time has come...

How can somebody love someone so much that they hate their feeling of 'love' for the other person?

It sends a chill down her spine when she remembers their moments spent together -
It was just perfect... little fights - a punch here and a tickle there, messing up his neatly set hair, fighting for the biggest piece of pizza or garlic bread, singing the most weirdest song in the car together, trying out a cig - puking after taking the first puff and promising never to have it again, swearing every time never to talk with each other on realizing their paths are different, doing the strangle-drama every time she calls him by a very-specific-funny-name, yelling at him when he forgets his meal card and then borrows it from a friend, yelling at him for having some stupid fries over a good dinner, getting an elevated blood pressure when the car runs on petrol instead of cng which finally lands them up waiting for over an hour at the gas station, not letting her play 'fruit-slice' because she would then 'ignore' him, meeting each other over tea at the coffee room, poking each other quietly when posing for group photos...... and many other stupid wacky making-her-bang-her-head things!

And now the time has come for them to go apart... a departure to which he has finally given into and to which she has been ready enough to go through.

I wish it never ended this way for them... but wishes are granted only in fairytales.

"From England and from Thornfield: and ___"
"Well?"
"From you, sir”
