Recuperating from life
At times I truly feel I don't have the latent to stand up to everyone's expectations! Avin's post, "an excellent remainder" actually put me to think. Why do we forget ourselves and dance to the tune of the universe. Why is it that we desperately crave to go ahead of time and once we are there, we long to go back to our past? Though I've never understood life's concepts, I assume, the reason is all because we are humans and so we follow the norm of being unsatisfied with what we have. We dream of living a luxurious life; a life where we want happiness, a life where we can only smile. In an attempt to achieve this 'all' we drain ourselves so much to the core that we finally end up realizing we haven't lived our lives at all. Responsibilities and Expectations weigh us down and we tend to become hackneyed. We try to smile through everything.
Now for a change, as they say, Life is not a Bed of Roses, let's be practical and accept the fact; Life, infact can be a bed of anything and that "anything" is upto us. If I say my life is a bed of thorns, I'm tagged as an unsurpassed pessimist. Then if I say, my life is a bed of roses, I'm tagged as a optimist.
Try being an optimist. Trust me, it's worth being one. Let worries, bad-luck, loss be at its place, all we have to do is to believe and say, "My life is good". Look at the positive side of life. There is so much to achieve, so much to give and so much to share. It might look impossible at the first try. But believe me, we need to know that every experience teaches us something very important and useful. That is life. How boring life would have been without all these moments. Imagine living only with a smile your entire life? irksome or wonderful? doesn't matter anyway. Such things never take place. If its dark today, you will see the light tomorrow and if its light today (finger crossed), you are forced to see some darkness tomorrow. That is life. Living beings cannot avoid it. What's more important? Forgive but never Forget. We are "nobody" to hurt the people who have hurt us. There is a power so strong watching us go through everything. What we can do is to never forget.
So.. Enjoy Life as it comes and yes.. be an Optimist with a big O ;-)
As Shakesphere had once said....

As Shakesphere had once said....
All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts...
