A Present

Today I believe strongly that GOD cares for me. Infact, I wish each of us would realize that HE always cared for us. When locks are manufactured, they also manufacture keys. HE too creates problems in our life with the solutions. I was always looking outside myself for strength. Like my previous post, 'pretending' to be strong to actually be one. But lately I realized, its something that comes from within and not from outside. And unless you dunt have a funny side to things, you can't really be strong. Laugh, crack jokes, sound stupid....life is beautiful. If all you see is darkness, remember, it won't last long. It's HIM creating a stronger you for a pleasant tomorrow.

'Attachment' is a sacred word. I know people who follow this 'I-am-unattached' attitude and portray a 'dont-care' facade. Well, I was one of them. Just a few days back, I realized, Attachment is beautiful. You really don't have to be physically connected with the other person. It's perfectly fine if your attachment isn't reciprocated. It's YOUR decision to be emotionally attached. Atleast you won't blame anyone else. And you need not answer anyone... why.. how.. etc. You arent indebted to anyone. I really feel blessed to be attached to a few very good people who were, are and will always be a part of my life. Listening to them- understanding their way of living, made me realize that people who say they are unattached, arent actually unattached, they are scared of attachment. A past experience shouldn't overrule your future. I don't wish to live my life being scared of losing, it would be like arguing with GOD for all the good things HE has been showering on us. No one knows us better than HIM. What's gone is past, what's not seen is future.. and what's today is a gift- that's why its called 'present' :)

"You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do."
--- Eleanor Roosevelt

Even I try my best to think "jo hota hey, ache ke liey hota hey"[whatever happens is for the good!]
though its ver hard to keep that frame of mind at all times, it still helps to keep yourself pushing.
and your thoughts about attachment s nice too.
it doesent take long for one to get attached, but we must be prepared to take things as it comes to us,isint it?
