Aftermath of Mumbai Attacks

It's been a week since the mumbai attacks and life seems to have regained the normal essence for many of the mumbaities. But really, has nothing changed at all? well, there have been tremendous changes which may affect our lives for years to come and maybe even for generations if we fail to make proper decisions.

Things started with Shivraj Patil giving up on home ministry. Did he assume taking up responsibility of the entire nation is a child's play? What did he think before indulging himself into this act? Anyway, if not he, then its Chidambaram now. I bet the game will continue. Another attack and thousand lives lost. Lakhs injured and another resignation. haa!

Next, there was Vilasrao Deskhmukh visiting Taj Mahal Hotel with son Riteish and Ram Gopal Verma. This was ridiculous. Guess RGV he has already signed a contract with Deshmukh for launching a movie, with Riteish as the main lead or may be he will potray Azim Aamir. Then it will be called Ram Gopal Verma's Taj.. or Trident or whatever crap... who cares anyway. Even if its a dedication, kindly let him know, this isn't the right time! Shocking to believe we have such inhuman people around who can't even distinguish between a real life and a reel life. This isn't the end of it. Rahul Gandhi went partying with his pals at a farmhouse on Delhi’s outskirts just after the mumbai attacks.. Speechless in this case!

It's not even a month and people are finding ways to gather attention or mint money from this attack. It's so frustrating. I got to know this from a friend of mine that, some banners have been hung by the political parties at a place in mumbai (will get the details asap) which includes the congress, shiv sena, mns and bjp. Congress has given a tribute to all the four officers who lost lives in this attack. BJP and MNS to only three of them and Shiv Sena to only two of them (kindly correct me if I am wrong) Will somebody please tell me what is going on here? My blood boils when I see this kind of a mind set. Each one looking for their own profit. Why do they enter into this system when their only aim is getting popularity and riches and not what is to be done- serving our motherland. Instead of uniting the whole nation, they have found ways to divide people on the basis of religion. After 61 years of Independence what we get is he-is-not-my-religion. I pray the common man does not fall prey to their wicked plans.

Why cannot we be called 'Indians' instead of being catgorised as Hindus, Muslims or Christians. And ya, now people eye all the muslims as if they are related to the terrorists. Give me a break guys! That is seriously not done. When will you realize that terrorists have no religion of their own. They can even be Hindus for that matter. Even if they have come from Pakistan, it doesnt mean all Pakistanis are Terrorists. Get Alive! Let there be peace all around.

May Terrorism Perish and so be the people who promote it.

I got this through an email. If you wish to know what Politics is all about, read on....

A little boy goes to his dad and asks, 'What is Politics ?'
Dad says, 'Well son, let me try to explain it this way:
I am the head of the family, so call me The President .
Your mother is the administrator of the money, so! we call her the Government .
We are here to take care of your needs, so we will call you the People .
The nanny, we will consider her the Working Class .
And your baby brother, we will call him the Future .

Now think about that and see if it makes sense.'
So the little boy! Goes off to bed thinking about what Dad has said.
Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him.
He finds that the baby has severely soiled his diaper.
So the little boy goes to his parents' room and finds his mother asleep.
Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny's room Finding the door locked, he peeks in the keyhole and sees his father in bed with the nanny.
He gives up and goes back to bed.

The next morning, the little boy says to his father,
'Dad, I think I understand the concept of politics now.'
The father says, 'Good, son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is all about.'
The little boy replies,
'The President is screwing the Working Class while the Government is sound asleep.
The People are being ignored and the Future is in deep shit .

Please be careful during the week of January 13.
This might be a random observation of sequence of dates of bomb blasts or terror attacks. But there's no harm in keeping ourselves alert.
