Hail google
I was just sitting idle wondering what to do next when a thought clicked to browse through the wallpapers with quotes. So I turned to the most amazing innovation and a fruitful boon to mankind - Google Search Engine.. Now why the praise n all. Well, they truly deserve it! Google has changed the world for better. If we actually go to see, Google is the only Innovation-driven organization that exists on this Earth. No.. No.. its not an exaggeration! Google has gifted a whole new world to the 'internet-bitten bugs' of this world. Ok why categorize!? Even a lame man has advantages when it comes to google. But one thing for which I appreciate Google is its 'Search-Engine'. Infact, I never realized that ever since my bond with internet started to blossom, Google-Search has always been my Home-Page. And infact Google acts as a middle ware between internet and Me. Without it, I don't ever think I would have gelled with the World Wide Web. Be it some topic like 'Image Processing' or some 'Happy Birthday' quotes and E-cards, Google has always helped me out with my issues! Infact, I was never bored of 'Internet' all thanks to Google!
And yes, its Organizations like these that motivate youngsters like us to create more and more web-based projects! Who would want to work with organizations that do the same kind of work over and over again... All they do is get the projects from others (more likely called on contract), analyze it, design it, code it, test it and return it. Isn't that more like a Robot! Ok I agree, those levels are Crucial..and 'the-only' means of developing a Strong Base for the Software, but then 'the-kind' of software/applications that companies build, does matter. well, I'm not against such organizations (ahh, as if they care what I say :P), they provide our daily bread n butter... But then having varieties other than the same old Bread-Butter is a an option one would never want to miss! And that's the reason I would (atleast me) never miss an opportunity of working for such an organization! Full of innovation and more!
Had it not been for Larry Page, a PhD student at Stanford, Google would have never been formed. The funniest part here was that, the name initially given was 'Googol' and then due to some misspelling what generated was Google!
It has hell lots of Acquisitions like Bloggers (ya.. this one), Ad-Words, Picasa, Google Videos, Spreadsheets and the most famously famous.. Orkut!
Whoa.. I bow before thee... Google.. thou shall rule the world till its end.
Aloha
